ree came to live with the campaign staff on the 18th of January 2013, weighing just 2.4 ounces. A shy creature at first, she quickly developed a crush on Diddley Squat, whom she vowed she would worship from afar all the days of her life. She lived until the early hours of 10 September 2014.

Soon after her arrival, Diddley took a keen interest in her and asked her to become his bride. The couple married on the 10th of March 2013.

Before her wedding, Cree, who comes from a horse betting family, attempted to step into the pawprints of the legendary Einstein, who had passed away just days before she arrived. But her horse betting career was destined to be a dismal failure. Out of dozens of horses picked, none ever won. Few even finished races, which led to her being congratulated if her choice finished last. Most of the time they either fell over fences, refused to run, unseated their riders, or were pulled up by the jockey before the finish.

She abruptly ended her career on the 5th of April when a horse she chose to win at the famous Aintree Racecourse (Liverpool, England) was killed in a fall. Blaming herself, she asked her sister Middy to take over the betting business. That weekend, she and Diddley honeymooned.

Cree vowed that she would devote her life to raising a litter of excellent "first offspring" hamsters, all worthy of following in the pawprints of their illustrious father. She did exactly that. RIP Precious Cree.
